IKEA Moving Day

CONTEXT

SHED hired me to supervise and lead this project. Every year, IKEA is making a campaign in Canada during the period of the moving day to promote some of their furniture. We had to create two animations of 10 frames that represent the process of moving into a typical Montreal apartment.

Some of the assets created for this project. Look dev was done in Houdini and Redshift.

Process

This project was great to continue to push some of the scene assembly tools I'm developing in Houdini. All the assets are .hda files automatically created and then placed in the scene using a custom tool that allows to move things easily from the viewport, create instances etc.
